Cost-effective CAN FD adapter and PCinterface family for USB
The Ixxat USB-to-CAN FD has – depending on the device variant – up to two channels, which support three switchable operation modes: ISO CAN FD, non ISO CAN FD and CAN High-Speed. The automotive variant provides also one LIN channel.
Thus, these variants addresses a wide range of applications, both in industrial and automotive sectors.

By using powerful hardware and connecting over USB 2.0 Hi-Speed (480 MBit/sec), these interfaces achieve very high data throughput with minimum latency and low power consumption. This allows them to provide the reliable, loss-free transmission and receipt of messages in CAN-FD and CAN networks at high transmission rates and bus load.
The messages are also timestamped and can be filtered and buffered directly in the USB-to-CAN FD.

The USB-to-CAN FD is available in different variants.
USB-to-CAN FD Compact
Cost-effective variant with 1x CAN-FD. the CAN-FD connection is implemented as a sub-D9 plug, with galvanic isolation.
USB-to-CAN FD Automotive
Variant for automotive applications. Contains 2x CAN-FD, of which one is switchable to LIN, to be used as either LIN-master or –slave. All channels with galvanic isolation.

USB-to-CAN FD Embedded
A low-cost CAN-FD variant with an extremely compact design specifically for use in compact industrial PCs or similar embedded controllers. Only available with sub-D9 connector and galvanic isolation. Can be supplied with or without a bracket for a pc expansion slot.
