Introduction
The Anybus X-gateway J1939 is a series of network gateways, used to provide a seamless connection between a primary fieldbus/Ethernet network and a secondary SAE J1939 sub-network. The gateway enables the master, e.g. a PLC or other Controller, of the fieldbus/Ethernet network to exchange data to and from the secondary J1939 sub-network. This makes it possible to combine J1939 network with PLC or controller based networks.
The X-gateway J1939 combines simplicity and usability with industrial robustness, making communication across different industrial network types easy and reliable. The X-gateways are easily integrated into any kind of industrial automation system, ensuring a seamless information flow between SAE J1939 and the primary fieldbus/Ethernet network.
